understanding notion of mechanical properties understanding principles of basic mechanical tests get acquainted with EU and ISO Standards of basic mechanical tests application of basic mechanical tests in practice analysis of results of tests

Summary

Classification of the mechanical properties, stress, strain, limited states, elasticity, plasticity, dislocations models, strenghtening of materials, fracture. Principal methods of testing - tensile test, impact test, hardness test. Fatigue. Creep. Technological and non-destructive testing.
