Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Graduates will understand the relationships between the structure of metallic materials and their mechanical properties, learn to control their properties in a controlled. Acquainted with modern methods of evaluation of the structure and properties. They can handle the selection of metallic materials for the conditions of use.

Technical materials and properties of their development. Steel- upgrade options to their properties. Microalloyed steels, high strenght, heat resistant, corrosion resistant. Metallic materials with special properties-amorphous metals,superalloys.
