Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Graduates will be able, on the basis of deep knowledge of the relationship between structure and properties, and management influence the performance characteristics of selected types of non-metallic materials. Understand progessive ways to increase their preparation. Handle mechanisms of rapid solidification, mechanical alloying, oxide dispersion zpevnění.Je able to design non-metallic materials according to their purpose.

Summary
Basic physical and engineering characteristics of bearing types of nonmetallic
materials. Evaluation of mechanical, physico-chemical and physical
properties. To ensure efficient use of technical and operational
reliability. Prospects for further development of bearing types of non-metallic materials and
their technical applicability.
