Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students obtain knowledge about the influence of physical fields on measured physical values, they will know contact and contact less diagnostic methods and they will be able to do proper choice of methods for given problem as well as statistical analysis of measured data.

Summary

The lecture is oriented on the study of the influence of the structure on physical properties of materials . Students obtain knowledge about diagnostic methods and distinguished standards for measurements.

Subject syllabus:

1. The importance of the physical field for material testing.. 2. Contact methods of material diagnostic. 3. The application of forced oscillations for material diagnostics. 4. Sensor for materials diagnostics. 5. Diagnostics of polymers. 6. Ultrasound diagnostics of solid state and liquids. 7. Thermal diagnostics. 8. Interference diagnostics. 9. Contact less diagnostics of elastic modules. 10. Thermography. 11. Prophilometry. 12. Modal analysis of materials. 13. Statistical evaluation of measured data.
