Summary

The course focuses on the most important non-ferrous metals and their alloys used in modern industrial branches. The student is acquainted with pure metals and alloys based on copper, aluminum, nickel, titanium, tungsten, molybdenum and magnesium. Emphasis is placed on the internal structure of these materials and its relationship to the utility properties, the possibilities of increasing the utility properties, the advantages and disadvantages of individual materials and the main areas of their use.
