Teaching methods

Summary

Primary and secondary raw-material sources of non-ferrous metals; economical and ecological aspects of mining and primary raw-materials treatment; heavy metals in the environment,the limit concentration in waters,soils,air,heavy metals in metallurgical operations; treatment of primary and secondary non- ferrous metals sources; recycling of selected metalbearing wastes, temporary technologies, situation in the Czech Republic.

Subject syllabus:

Surovinové zdroje neželezných kovů, primární a druhotné zdroje. Rudy neželezných kovů, jejich kovnatost a možnosti obohacování. Surovinová základna ČR. Ekonomická a ekologická hlediska těžby a zpracování primárních surovin. Druhotné surovinové zdroje s obsahem neželezných kovů. Meziprodukty z výroby neželezných kovů, strusky, popílky, míšně, kamínky a kaly a odpady s obsahem kovů, možnosti jejich zpracování. Úprava primárních a druhotných surovinových zdrojů neželezných kovů. Drcení, mletí, třídění. Rozdružovací procesy, gravitační statické a dynamické, magnetické, elektrické. Flotace, teorie flotačního procesu, flotační koncentráty. Přípravné pyrometalurgické a hydrometalurgické pochody před zpracováním primárních a sekundárních surovin. Úprava kusovosti. Využití kryogenních postupů.
