Summary

The subject is focused both on basic concepts, legislation, principles of environmental protection and individual areas of metallurgical production and their impact on the environment. The attention is also concentrated at waste, waste classification in terms of their origin, characteristics, treatment and recycling possibilities. There are also presented BAT - best available technologies.

Mandatory attendence participation: Preparation of a one-semester work in the range of about 10-15 pages on the chosen topic from the field of secondary materials, semestral work is repaired by the teacher within 14 days of the student's submission. The results are communicated to students by e-mail, if necessary, personal consultations take place. Passing the credit test - with the results, the students are acquainted immediately with passing and repairing the tests.
