Summary

Biotolerance kovových materiálů v tělních tekutinách je spojena s iniciací a rozvojem korozních či jiných degradační dějů, které vyvolávají toxické a alergenní reakce. Tyto reakce následně způsobují pooperační komplikace a peri-implantační reakce. Příklady reakcí budou ukázány na materiálech běžně používaných v lékařství, které nejsou vůči lidskému tělu neutrální. Budou nastíněny rovněž perspektivy vývoje nových materiálů pro traumatologii.
