Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
• Preparation of students for literary research from scientific publications.
• Orientation in the available e-resources that are important for theie field.
• Presentation and assignment of diploma thesis topics, preparation process.
• Principles of scientific work and professional presentation.
• Developing an experimental activity plan and a procedure for evaluating the results obtained in collaboration with the supervisor or consultant.
• Realization of expert lectures on selected topics, led by specialists and experts from apllication sphere.
• Realization of excursions to the research laboratories of university and production plants of different companies related to the specialization focus.

Summary
Extending the acquired knowledge from the subjects of profiling bases of the given specialization in the form of lectures by experts and excursions in laboratories and companies involved in the production and processing of non-ferrous metals and their alloys and the recycling of materials.

Subject syllabus:
Students within the frame of seminary prepare theoretical and practical
part of their Diploma thesis. The students will thus participate in solution of partial problems, under guidance of the supervisor or consultations of experienced specialists from practice. Seminary will be aimed at learning of the given topic and its theoretical investigation and analysis, including proposal of measures and possible realisation output.
