Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able to formulate the basic definitions of informatization. Student will be able to present particular phases of information transfer. Student will be able to exploit information in control process. Student will be able to analyze problems of informatization in technological processes.

Summary

The objective of the subject is to master the basic patterns in the process of information acquisition, transfer and treatment. These patterns are applied to designing, planning, organization and control of processes for particular hierarchical levels.

1. A introduction to subjekt. 2. Technical cybernetics – genesis, growt and distinctive features. 3. Koncept of information theory, information processing, basic concepts. 4. Process of gathering information, entropy. 5. Information resources - discrete and continuous information sources and their properties. 6. Types of signals and their coding and transmission, channel bandwidth 7. Signal modulation. 8. Information support of business acquisition and use of information. 9. The Computerization of the design processes. 10. The computerization of the planning processes. 11. The Computerization of organizational processes. 12. The Computerization of management processes. 13. Creation and use of integrated information systems. 14. Model for Open Communication Systems
