Student will be able to formulate the basic terms of system theory and system applications. Student will be able to identify characteristics and behaviour of static a dynamic systems. Student will be able to analyze problems of mathematical description and behaviour of static a dynamic systems.

Subject introduces to basic terms of system theory and system applications.It deals with set theory problems and its exploitation for system definition and description,with basic terms of operational and network analysis and basic preview about mathematical description,characteristics and behavior of static and dynamic systems(L-transformation,static and dynamic characteristics).

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: The basic disciplines of systems theory and system applications. Systems Theory, cybernetics, systems analysis and synthesis, operational analysis, system engineering. Basic terms and concepts of system sciences. A system component, binding, structure, inputs, outputs, the neighborhood system. Subsystems and sub-systems hierarchy. The methodology of systems engineering. A systems approach. The behavior of the system, its status and characteristics. Transformation of the system operator. Classification systems based on various criteria. Model, identification, modeling and simulation systems. Management systems. The general principle of management. Types of procedure. Static systems. Mathematical description of static systems. Examples of static systems. Graph theory. Basic notions of graph theory. The code description of static systems using matrices. Tasks for static systems. Methods of Operations Research. Critical Path Method (CPM). Dynamical systems. Mathematical description of dynamic systems. Examples of dynamic system. Laplace transform. Transmission system in the Laplace transform. Static and dynamic properties of dynamic systems. Static characteristics. Dynamic characteristics. Classification systems in order of linear differential equations Theoretical education: The concept of set. Types of sets. Relations between sets. Operations with sets. Cartesian product of sets. Relationships. Propositional functions. Operations with the statements. Logic Systems. Fundamentals of Boolean algebra. Basic rules of logic modeling systems. Minimization of logic functions. Analysis and synthesis of logical systems, examples. Graph theory. The code description of static systems using matrices. Identification and precedence matrix. Tasks for static systems. Critical Path Method, examples. Laplace transform. Examples of continuous transfer functions of feedback and direct transfer by Laplace transformation. Tables of Laplace transforms. Laplace transform. Determination of original paintings and examples. Solving linear differential equations using Laplace transform. Transmission of continuous functions and examples. Static characteristic and basic dynamic characteristics of dynamic systems and examples.
