Student will be able to utilize signals from technological processes, will be able to choose among individual accesses and control methods of technological processes, will be able to design and construct hierarchical control systems, will be able to apply principles of artificial intelligence in praxis.

Summary
The methods of processing signals from technological processes, choices between individual approaches and methods of control of technological processes, suggestions of hierarchical control systems, applications and principles of artificial intelligence in practice are discussed.

Subject syllabus:
• Signal processing and filtering. Passive and active analog filters. Digital filters.
• Reciprocal conversion between analog and digital signals. A / D and D / A converters.
• Special methods of linear univariable and multivariable continuous and discrete systems.
• Nonlinear, extremal and adaptive control systems.
• Complicated hierarchical control systems.
• The use of neural networks in control and fuzzy control.
