Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The students will be able to pursue data interpretation about dependability and production device maintenance. On the data analysis basis then can be made dependability model and can be propose complex system solution of decision making when maintenance controlling by modern dependability methods.
Students will be competent to take part in the design, implementation and operation of technology to increase reliability and quality of production using traditional and heuristic techniques.

Summary
Subject Theory of reliability and technical diagnostics is oriented on advanced methods of research of non-renovated and refurbished technical objects. The determination of indicators and parameters of the reliability models is performed both by traditional methods and by non-traditional methods using artificial intelligence methods. Methods of increasing reliability, problems of remedial maintenance, preventive maintenance and optimization methods are discussed. Attention is paid to the introduction of comprehensive productive maintenance. Further, questions of common diagnostic methods, as well as non-traditional methods, as well as the use of artificial intelligence elements during its implementation are discussed.
