Summary
Course deals with basic terms from automation of production processes field. Definitions of object and controlled system earmarking, control system, logic and feedback control are specified. Problems of systems identification, control loop function, negative feedback, block-diagram algebra and regulators construction are briefly mentioned. Majority of education is devoted to the industrial robots and manipulators, their classification, architecture, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic actuator mechanisms and to their control. Output heads, sensors for internal and external information, control systems of lower generation industrial robots and also of cognitive robots are discussed. At the end of the course automated technological complexes with robots, dependability and diagnostics problems, maintenance organization and implementation are included.
