Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will be able to formulate advanced features of computer networks and communication technologies, will focus on modern communication technologies, will be able to analyze the types of current network of wired and wireless technologies. Will be able to classify the means of communication in the industrial and non-industrial environments and to use ICT to support industrial control systems.

Summary
Students will meet basic concept of single chip computers not only for industrial usage. They will adopt basic and also advanced skills in the field of data communication, not only with metallic wires, but also wireless, including GSM communication variants. Students also learn, how to secure data transmission whether it's al ocal network, or internet interconnection.
