Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1) Knowledge of elementary methods of mathematical statistics:
- calculation of basic characteristics,
- parameter estimation,
- hypothesis testing,
- regression and correlation analysis
2) Real data analysis

Summary
Processing and analysis of the data which represent unknown population, making
models of real situations for extrapolation and interpolation. The basic
chapters of mathematical statistics: numerical characteristics, theory of
estimation, regression and correlation analysis,testing of hypothesis.
