The management systems historical development. Basic principles of management systems. Leadership - the directions and approaches. Benchmarking and its role at management systems. Establishing the company strategy and policies. Deployment of company objectives. Creation of organizational structures. Procedures of planning. Methods of interested parties requirements defining. Human resources management and knowledge management - meaning and procedures. Product design and development - procedures and methods. Product realization stage. Process management and its role at management systems. Meaning and approaches to quality management, environmental management and OHSAS management. The implementation of the ISO 9000, 14000 and OHSAS 18000 families of standards.Partnership with suppliers - processes and importance. Measurements within management systems - meaning and procedures. Management systems review. Management systems auditing - meaning and procedures. The Balanced Scorecard and its use. The excellence models and their practical use. Assessment of management systems maturity - self-assessment. Continuous improvements - approaches and methods.
