Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the contents of this subject is to understand that successful assurance of quality system is not only in direct quality management but first of all it depends on knowledge of people in companies, their motivation and their permanent and efficient education to quality. All of this will focus on the area of present requirements of the new documentation of the ISO standards and on innovative EFQM Excellence Model.

Summary

The course focuses on the issue of human potential management business, including an explanation of the importance of basic principles, processes and tools HRM in business practice. Attention will be paid to issues of communication and motivation in quality management systems, as well as the current phenomenon of corporate governance - issues of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV).

Subject syllabus:

1. The importance of the human factor in quality management. 2. Human resources management system according to ISO 9000 and the EFQM Excellence Model. 3. Forms and structure of education of the quality. 4. Measurement and evaluation of training effectiveness. 5. The philosophy of the learning enterprise. 6. The role of senior management in quality management and delegation of powers. 7. Leadership, management styles. 8. Measuring employee satisfaction. 9. Communication and motivation in quality management systems. 10. Teamwork and its forms in Quality Management (Quality Circles, Kaizen, 5 S, IIP). 11. Introduction to Knowledge Management - definition, historical development; importance. 12. TQM and company culture 13. Ethical principles of business management systems. 14. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its evaluation in business practice, international social responsibility, Creating Shared Value (CSV).
