Student will be able:
- to characterize and classify advanced methods of quality planning
- to identify appropriate methods for different situations
- to apply selected advanced procedures and methods of quality planning
- to interpret the results of the application of methods and propose appropriate actions.

Summary
The aim of the course is to learn advanced techniques and methods of quality planning. The course builds on the knowledge gained in the course "Quality Planning I". Attention is paid to modern methodological approaches to product quality planning, requirements of production part approval processes, to advanced procedures of process capability analysis, to the procedures of measurement system analysis and other specialized methods.

Subject syllabus:
1. Methodical procedures of products quality planning. APQP methodology.
2. Control plans and their use.
3. Production part approval processes. Quality plans.
4. Extended possibilities of QFD use – Matrix of matrices.
5. Special procedures of failure mode and effect analysis with using FMEA.
6. Fault tree analysis.
7. Procedures of process capability analysis in the non-standard situations.
8. Sensitivity of process capability indices to process changes. Factors affecting the explanatory power of capability indices.
9. Process capability analysis in case of non-measurable quality characteristics.
10. Procedures of measurement system analysis. Analysis of measurement system drift, bias and linearity.
11. Analysis of measurement system repeatability and reproducibility (GRR analysis).
12. Measurement system analysis for attributes.
13. Methodology of problem solving.
14. Fundamentals of project management. Project quality management.
