The aim of Knowledge Management understand that success, quality, on competitiveness of company management system depends first of all on knowledge, abilities, and skills of people - employees with their permanent education and training.

Summary

The course focuses on the submission of a comprehensive set of contemporary knowledge and information on the issue of human potential management enterprise learning organization and, lastly, the issue of knowledge and knowledge management in business practice. Students learn the basic processes in the field of knowledge management their specifics and also learn about the available methods of assessing knowledge assets in terms of practice.

Subject syllabus:

1. Knowledge management as an important part of corporate management. 2. From learning organization to knowledge society. 3. Knowledge, knowledge management systems (definition, historical development). 4. Basic approaches to knowledge management. 5. Knowledge management in current documents QMS (ISO standards, EFQM excellence model) 6. Definition of basic knowledge management activities. 7. Knowledge management as a process, key processes in knowledge management. 8. Knowledge worker (characteristic). 9. Benefits and barriers to knowledge management. 10. Analysis of the development needs of human knowledge. 11. Methods for evaluation of intangible assets / knowledge (knowledge accounts). 12. From competition to competition product knowledge. 13. Business knowledge as a competitive advantage. 14. The importance of knowledge management in planning and continuous improvement.
