Summary
Laboratory practise is focused on mastering fundamental methodology and procedures used in laboratory practice in the fields of synthesis and analysis of chemical substances. Students will get acquainted with fundamental chemical operations and procedures, which are routinely used in chemical syntheses and analyzes in chemical laboratories.

• Adsorption (adsorption of oxalic acid on active charcoal)
• Rectification (rektification of mixture of methanol/ethanol)
• Thin layer chromatography – determination of vitamins of category B
• Protein separation using discontinuous electrophoresis in a polyacrylamide gel (PAGE)
• Determination of content of phosphoric acid in Coca-Cola
• Determination of content of acetic acid in trade vinegar
• Buffer capacity
• Potentiometric determination of pK
• Optical activity
• Inversion of sucrose
• Spectrophotometric determination of pK of indicator
• Determination of molar absorption coeficient
• Spectrophotometric determination in water analysis (PO43-, NH4+, NO2-, NO3-)
• Volumetric determination in water analysis (CODMn, water hardness Ca2+, Mg2+, acid-base properties)
• Capture and determination of nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere
