Subject syllabus:
A. 1. Basic concepts and theories of sculptural works . 2. Way of working with plastic material , respect the principles of the modeling , variety types of work equipment.3. Storage of the model. 4. Principles of three-dimensional imaging. Compliance with the chronology of the workflow. 5. Proportions , statics , dynamics , rhythm, repetition , contrast, and other concepts that are related to the topic of geometric composition in plastic production. 6. Architecture . City walk - the study of the proportional spatial relationships. 7. Architecture as a geometric exercise. Ability own spatial implementation. The use of geometric objects. The concept of stylization . 8. The creation of the surface - surface as a reflection of the accuracy of workflow ( modeling skills , use of appropriate work equipment ) . 9. Modern architecture , the important realizations, relation to the creation of sculpture . 10. Mold making . Waste mold - suitable for rapid production of the original cast .
B. 1 Relief in relation to historical periods . Comparison of illustrative reproductions.2. The concept of high and bas-relief . 3. The medal , plaque . 4. Workinf with fonts. Text on the surface . Choice of font type , location of the text, ability to work with font , etc.
Exercise A. 1. Working with modeling clay - technology. Basic workflow - creation of a base for the subsequent implementation of the modeled object. 2. The modeling of the geometric model to compliance with the principles of correct workflow.
3. Modelling of a simple geometric still life acording to the real model . Working in 1:1 scale and due to workflow.
4. Implementation of the topic - small architectural composition. 5. Realization of sculpture. Design of spatial building on the architectural theme . The starting elements are the geometric objects , or a severely stylized objects forming the symbiotic interaction , harmonious whole. Required work with proportions , spaciousness and modeling skills .
6.Mold making . Production of waste mold. 7. A plaster cast . Casting plaster model to full / to hollow.
8. Finishing the cast .
Exercise B. 1 The application of own drawing proposal - made by - three-dimensional model on the surfaceof the relief. 2. Determination of maximum heights and lowest parts and subsequently differentiation of other critical dimensions. 3. Focused modeling activity with a significant revision. 4. Clear refinement of the individual volumes. Precision work - choice of right work equipments. 5. Mold making . Making of a waste mold. 6. A plaster cast . Casting plaster model to full / to hollow - in the case of higher relief plates . 7. Finishing of the cast - wet and dry.
