Summary
The subject focuses on the application of computer technology for the production of models, moulds and castings. The use of computer support for the simulation of foundry processes occurring during the flow, solidification and cooling of melts in the mould. Simulations are used for verification of manufacturing processes and prediction of casting quality using MAGMA software.
