Summary

The course focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of the application of advanced forming technologies at processing of conventional and new metallic materials. Attention is paid particularly to the preparation of ultra-fine grained and nano-structural materials by severe plastic deformation, to advanced forming technologies using high parameters, to isothermal and super-plastic forming and to analysis of the structure and properties of materials obtained with the use of advanced forming technologies. Attention is also paid to the theoretical analysis of the physical nature of advanced forming technologies.
