Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

-the student will be able to describe the logistics procedures in recycling technologies, their characteristics, distribution; -list the processes of recycling of waste materials-hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and combined methods of processing materials containing metals and non-metallic materials, refining of obtained products, and logistical management of them; -name the logistical, ecological and economic aspects of modern recycling technologies, the current situation and recycling technologies in the Czech Republic and in the world.

Summary

The student will be able to describe logistics procedures in recycling technologies, their characteristics, division-list procedures for recycling waste materials-hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and combined methods of processing materials containing metals and non-metallic materials, refining of obtained products and logistical management. He will also be able to list the logistical, ecological and economic aspects of modern recycling technologies, the current situation and recycling technologies in the Czech Republic and in the world.

1. Introduction to the logistics of modern recycling technologies 2. Basic definition and division of recycling technologies 3. Logistics and legislation in the field of recycling 4. Comparison with classic recycling technologies 5. Logistics and waste management, principles, history 6. Thermal decomposition technology, pyrolysis and plasma 7. Biowaste processing technology 8. Biodegradation processes 9. Composting 10. Aerobic and anaerobic digestion 11. Vermicomposting 12. Recycling and regranulation technologies 13. Technology of processing hazardous substances in waste 14. Recycled waste as a secondary raw material
