Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able to describe the rules of longitudinal rolling and progressive technologies of hot/cold rolling. Student will be able to apply this knowledge at improving the use properties of rolled products made of steels and non-ferrous alloys.

Teaching methods

Individual consultations

Subject provides comprehensive theoretical and technological knowledge about the progressive processes of flat and long products rolling, including hot and cold processing. Attention is paid to possibilities of improving the quality of products made of ferrous nad non-ferrous alloys.
