Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Graduates will extend their knowledge of the relationships between the structure of metallic and non-metallic materials and their properties. They learn to control the structure to increase the utility of technical materials. They can handle the mechanisms rapid solidification, mechanical alloying, oxidic dispersion strengthen. The can evaluate the utility properties of technical materials. They will learn to decide on the choice of technical materials for the given conditions of use.
