Student je schopen: - definovat základní rozdělení současných materiálů podle složení; - vyjmenovat základní technologie přípravy čistých kovů a progresivních materiálů; - objasnit základní vztahy mezi technologiemi přípravy materiálů a jejich získanými vlastnostmi; - charakterizovat stručně přednosti a nedostatky jednotlivých technologií;

Summary

Předmět představuje úvod do oblasti přípravy progresivních materiálů pro hi-tech aplikace. Student získá přehled o základním rozdělení materiálů a technologií jejich přípravy, bude schopen dát do souvislosti vlastnosti a aplikace materiálů a použité technologie jejich přípravy; bude se orietnovat v oblastech aplikací materiálů v různých odvětvích – medicíně, sportu, dopravě, stavebnictví apod.

Subject syllabus:

Introduction to the study of the subject - overview of metals, history of the use of non-ferrous metals, overview of materials used for common and modern applications. Basic description of pure metal production technologies, economic and ecological aspects. Overview of technologies for the preparation of selected special alloys and materials, economic and ecological aspects. Relationships between preparation technologies and material properties. Basic information in the field of waste management. An overview of recycling technologies used for the processing of selected types of waste.
