Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will be able to:
- characterize selected types of non-metallic waste,
- describe the common recycling technologies used for the treatment of waste based on non-metallic materials, define possible applications of obtained products in connection with the use of specific recycling technology,
- describe basic treatment procedures of waste based on common types of polymers, paper, glass and obtained secondary raw materials,
- describe basic treatment procedures of selected polycomponent waste such as waste tires, beverage cartons and obtained secondary raw materials.
