- student will be able to define basic terms from the field of waste management - student will be able to describe basic methods of waste utilization - student will be able to describe basic recycling technologies of common waste - student will be able to assess the suitability of using the selected method of waste utilization with respect to various aspects

Summary

Předmět je zaměřen na problematiku využití odpadů zahrnující znovuvyužití, recyklaci a jiné možnosti využití odpadů. Na vybraných typech odpadů budou popsány konkrétní postupy jejich využití. Výuka bude probíhat formou prezentací s následnou diskusí k danému tématu.

Subject syllabus:

The basic terms of circular economy. Legislation in waste management. Basic methods of waste utilization. Basic recycling technologies of common waste. Alternative ways of waste utilization. Possibilities of waste utilization from a technological point of view. Possibilities of waste utilization from ecological and economic point of view. Limiting aspects of waste utilization. Utilization rate of selected waste. Raw materials saving, sustainability. Material flows. Circular economy.
