Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will be able to analyse the challenges of managing production systems of individual business levels. They will be able to carry out designs of computer models of metallurgical systems, to solve optimal and adaptive control systems. Students will understand the modern identification, localization and robotic technologies and will be able to define and create solutions of problems in applications of these methods on automation and simulation of metallurgical processes.

Summary
Approaches to controlling production systems from individual controlling enterprise levels are discussed. Attention is also paid to the creation of computer models of industrial systems and individual stages of modeling. Optimal and adaptive control in industrial systems and methods of creating management algorithms. Further attention is paid to modern trends in industrial and non-industrial systems management, localization and robotics systems. The application of the mentioned means and methods is performed on selected industrial processes in their automation and modeling.
