Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will be able to analyze various control systems and will be able to apply modern measuring and diagnostic devices and systems based on conventional and unconventional methods of control. The student will be able to define and create tasks in various industrial applications using modern technical means of automation.

Summary

The subject deals with the problems of industrial systems management focused on communication standards and programmable automata in industry, application of artificial intelligence methods in industrial conditions. Attention is also paid to computer support for determining the reliability of industrial systems using industrial diagnostic tools. Continuous sensing of technological variables and the conclusion of digital image processing are also discussed.

Subject syllabus:

1. Communication standards and programmable logic controllers in industry 2. Automatization dust dispensing from the tray 3. Artificial intelligence methods in industrial conditions 4. Application of fuzzy clustering to process control 5. Computer support to determine the reliability of industrial systems. 6. Industrial diagnostics 7. Lifetime of the mold 8. Device for remote control of the diagnostic system 9. Calculation of the temperature parameters of the material from the combined heat capacity model 10. Continuous industrial measuring systems 11. Continuous detection of toxic and explosive gases 12. Continuous humidity measurement by microwave method under operating conditions. 13. Digital image processing, edge detection in picture 14. The use of computer techniques for prediction of internal defects of castings 15. Adaptive Management in Industry
