Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will be able to formulate advanced features of computer networks and communication systems, will be able orientate oneself in modern communication systems, will be able to analyze main types of wired or wireless technologies. Student will be able to classify communication instruments in industry and standard environments and utilize communication systems for control support in industrial systems.

1. Communication systems for control support in industrial systems.
2. Communication systems in industrial environments.
3. Communication systems in standard environments.
4. Wireless communication standards (gsm, wifi, zigbee, zwave and so on).
5. Configuration of active network elements in autonomous systems.
6. Application of routing protocols in industry environment.
7. Problems of network servers and routing.
8. Application of thin and thick client in industrial environments.
9. Shared media access control.
10. Advanced communication wireless elements (vpn, roaming, bridge, ap).
