Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the course is to introduce students to the solution of the real needs and requirements of manufacturers of medical devices. The course will include lectures by specific manufacturers of medical devices introducing students to real issues from the point of view of the technologies and materials used in the production of medical devices and their connection with regulations and standards used.

Summary
In the form of presentations from the company environment, the course gradually introduces students to the production focus of cooperating companies. The presentation will allow students to get a real idea of the technology being operated and will enable them to make a better decision when choosing a study internship.

Subject syllabus:
As part of this subject, students will be presented with selected lectures by external experts regarding the issues and possibilities of the technologies and materials used from the point of view of the design and usability of medical sanitary napkins in such a way that all the basic requirements of regulations and international standards are met.
