Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to characterize the main contemporary anthropological conceptions, to analyze and to summarize the answers to the question: What is a man?, defining the basic anthropological attributes, describing and clarifying basic human relations with the world (society and nature), defining society as a basic condition of human existence.

Using the experience of science and philosophy the issue of "What is a man?"
is discussed. General understanding of human being is based on the analysis of culture, society and mind and on the nalysis of cognitive, evaluative,
practical ralations of man to the reality. The essential aproach is combined
with the issue of individual human existence. The special importance of
society as a system of conditions for human life is emphasized.
