Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Overview and orientation in sources of law. Knowledge of basic principles and principles of law. Basic knowledge of particular legal branches. Basic knowledge of procedural law principles - administrative and judicial proceedings. Closer understanding and orientation within selected legal problems and questions.

Teaching methods



Subject is concentrated on assuming the matter, structure, functions and basic principles of law. Focusing on selected questions, the course focuses on understanding the principles, legal principles and rules of procedural law - judicial and administrative proceedings.

History of law from the perspective of Czech and European law 6. European law 7. International law 8. Basic principles of criminal law 9. Basic principles of civil law 10. Basic principles of administrative law 11. Specific legal branches 12. Parties to proceedings, their rights and obligations and basic principles of proceedings and their division 13. Law and justice 14. Offender; legal-psychological aspects and execution of punishment.
