Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- to describe the theoretical knowlegde in the psychological-legal areas - to recognize important psychological sites in professional situations - to understand the socio-pathological phenomens in society - to understand themselves through learning about yourself and thus better understand phenomena in interpersonal contacts - to identify stress situations and predict conflicts in the interpersonal context - to solve the difficult situations in the social scale - to use getting social skills in model situations - to apply the theoretical knowledge in the areas of the psychological and legal case studies

Summary

To acquire the basic psychological knowledge base in such a way so that the students would be able to recognize the psychological aspects, situations and relationships regulated by the law, to gain ability to recognize the situations where there the presence of the professional psychologist is required and to provide the students with the necessary knowledge to facilitate the communication with the professional.

Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction to Psychology of low in the applied psychological disciplines forensic psychologist. Methods. 2. Great theory in psychology in terms of Psychology of law. Behaviourism - violence media, psychoanalysis - the affect of trauma on kriminogenesis,Cognitive psychology, Humanist Psychology, and non-trends direction and sects. 3. Psychology of personality - the development, the structure, dynamics. Mental states and mentally processes. 4. Personality and normality, psychopathology, an overview of basic mental disorders, court expertmeaning and the importance of dealing with a mentally impaired individual, illustrations. 5. Motivation - the theme, socially undesirable motives, disorders of motivation. Suicide and psychologic-legal aspects. 6. Delinquency - the theory of delinquency. Socially undesirable phenomena. 7. Aggression - the basic theory. Manifestations of aggression, violent crimes. CAN syndrome, the psychological consequences. State social network. 8. Victimology - psychological nature of victimization, typology of victim. Stockholm syndrome. Perception injuriet victim. Communication with the victim. 9. Subject in difficult life situations - the types of psychological burden, workload, mobbing, bossing, stress. Burnout. The possibility of prevention. 10.Psychological crisis - development, crisis intervention, specifics of the "risky profession" and the possibility of prevention. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. 11.Conflikts and their solutions. Illustrations. Conflict situation in the negotiation, psychological analysis of conflict situations. 12.Negotiation in crisis situations. Components for negotiating, phases of the negotiation process. 13.Psychology of questioning and testimony, communication and psychological effect.Specifics for each category. Typology of witnesses. 14.Basic of legall-applied psychology - psychological conditions of quality decision-making, psychological characteristics of a lawyer.
