Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to create a grounding of ESP language with respect to communication skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking, and listening with the output level B1-B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (part-time)and B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (full-time).

Summary

International Express Upper-intermediate WS 2020/21 Students will demonstrate the acquisition of complex language skills, will be able to use terminology related to the main topics of the course. They will be able to apply appropriate conversational strategies, to perform a small talk, to describe various rules and regulations, they will learn to write a report and they will be aquainted with good workplace manners. They will also master the skills related to working with technical texts.
