The aim is to develop communication skills in professional English with the output level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Summary

The course is focused on communication skills in tourism, management, service industries and is suitable for intermediate learners. It contains themes such as accommodation services, dinner invitation, production process presentation, contract preparation, dealing with complaints, trade fair organization.

1. Basic vocabulary for tourism 2. International organization of tourism 3. Customs of the contemporary inhabitants of Russia 4. Geography, history and culture of the Russian Federation 5. Welcoming a guest - basic vocabulary 6. Waiting on a guest in a restaurant 7. Communication with a guest in the hotel 8. Arranging transport service for a guest 9. Russian gastronomy - Russian cuisine vocabulary 10. Giving common information on hotel services 11. Forms and trends of hotel management 12. Staying in a spa - basic vocabulary for balneology 13. Test.
