Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim is to acquire a grounding of contemporary Russian for further study of the language - practising reading, writing in Russian alphabet, mastering phonetic and intonation particularities of Russian. Acquiring elementary vocabulary and grammar structures and practising them. Practicing elementary phrases for communication.

Summary
The instruction is intended for beginners. Its aim is to master the sound and graphic aspect of Russian (practising Russian alphabet, pronunciation, stress, intonation), to acquire elementary knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary and using it while communication practice for everyday situation.
The aim is to acquire language skills with the output level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

4. Introductions (Знакомство). The Russian sentence. Personal pronouns.
5. Nationalities. Addressing. What is your name?
6. How are you? (Как дела?). The declension of singular masculine nouns ending in a hard consonant.
7. The infinitive forms of the Russian verbs and past tense. Polite forms of address.
8. My family (Моя семья). The declension of singular feminine nouns ending in a hard consonant.
9. Cardinal numbers 0-20 in the first case. Negation. The verb to have.
10. What? Where? When? (Что? Где? Когда?). The declension of singular neuter nouns ending in a hard consonant.
