Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Acquiring the general language competence at elementary level in listening, speaking, reading and writing (acquiring vocabulary of contemporary Russian, learning grammar structures and practising them, practising phrases adequate reactions to foreign oral and written language exposure, the ability to hold a monologue/dialogue concerning everyday topics).

Summary
The instruction is intended for beginners. Its aim is to master the sound and graphic aspect of Russian (practising Russian alphabet, pronunciation, stress, intonation), to acquire elementary knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary and using it while communication practice for everyday situation.
The aim is to acquire language skills with the output level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Subject syllabus:
Valašské Meziříčí, Uherské Hradiště:
Russian for self-learners and perpetual beginners. Units 5-10.
1. What are you going to do? (Какие у вас планы?). Cardinal numbers 30-199 in the first case. First conjugation verbs читать, гулять. Conjugation of the verb идти.
2. In Prague (в Праге). Adjectives in nominative. Conjugation of verbs: хотеть, ехать. Possible uses of the word когда.
2. Conjugation of verbs пойти, зайти, пройти аnd прийти. Seasons and months - vocabulary.
3. In a restaurant (В ресторане). Inanimate indeclinable nouns. Use of the word туда.
4. Declination of personal pronouns. Conjugation of verbs сказать, ходить. Conjugation of verbs like говорить.
5. Where will we live? (Где мы будем жить?). Declination of singular soft nouns.
Conjugation of verbs жить, мочь. Preposition „o“ with a word beginning in a vowel.
6. Leisure (Свободное время). Conjucation of verbs –овать/- евать.
7. Conjugation of reflexive verbs. Declination of singular possessive pronouns.
8. Declination of singular feminine nouns ending in a soft consonant. Talking about hobbies. How can I get to…? (Как добраться...?). Expressing need/neccessity in Russian.
9. Conjugation of verbs искать, вернуть/вернуться. Use of infinitive sentences. Formation of adverbs. Expression of approximity.
10. Work with unknown texts: "Прага", "Русская кухня", "Свободное время".
11. Work with unknown texts: "Иностранцы в Чехии", "Жизнь в городе и деревне".
12. Credit test.
