The course focuses on developing and deepening students’ language skills in business English so that they achieve language level B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Summary

Business Partner B2 + U 7-8 Students will acquire vocabulary related to risk, managing risk and decision-making. The course also focuses on language for different attitudes to risk, risk analysis, writing an accident report, maintaining relationships while discussing difficult topics and decisions. The grammar section covers the use of conditional sentences to talk about hypothetical present and past actions and their consequences. Students will get acquainted with a range of verbs with to + infinitive or the -ing form. They will learn how to prepare and perform an engaging presentation.

Other requirements

Active participation during tutorials, the completion of assigned written and oral tasks, terminology testing, 80% attendance, min. test result: 65 %. Students are required to learn the given vocabulary and be familiar with the grammatical phenomena discussed in the seminars. Students will master both vocabulary and knowledge needed for their future careers. Teachers will check the progress by tests.
