Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to deepen general language knowledge and to create the foundations of professional English within all language skills, i.e. speaking, writing, reading and listening with the output level of B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Summary
The lessons focus on mastering the lexicon, grammar, and phraseology within the given scope. Students will acquire complex language skills, they will be able to use terminology related to the course topics, so that they will be able to apply them once they are working as managing professionals within an international working environment.
Students will learn to express themselves concisely and accurately on technical issues using appropriate language forms and they will get familiar with the procedures for preparing a test report and discussing it at a meeting. Students will also learn how to process and use raw data as a source for preparing investigative reports and will become familiar with communication strategies used in crisis situations.
During the course, students will also prepare a ten-minute presentation on a field-related topic, which they will present to their classmates.
