Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim is to create a grounding of ESP language with respect to communication skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening with the output level A2 – B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Summary
The instruction focuses on managing vocabulary, grammar and phrases within the set range. Student talks about ways in which technology affects our lives, they are able to describe branches of technology, discuss inventions and their contribution to the society, characterizes basic material properties and technology in sport, talks about famous designers of the 20th century.

Working out of assigned written and oral tasks, active participation during tutorials, 80% attendance, minimal test score 65% .
The course is designed for students who manage the B1 - B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
