Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim is to create a grounding of ESP language with respect to communication skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening with the output level A2 – B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Summary
The instruction focuses on managing vocabulary, grammar and phrases within the set range. Students able to explain how a mechanism works, explain the difference between products, he/she understands and uses numbers and quantities accurately. He/she knows key terms for security equipment and describes its function. He/she differentiates between common manufacturing processes and treatments and learns to describe a manufacturing process. The student specifies different means of transport and is able to talk about skyscraper construction.

Other requirements
The course needs at least 10 students to run. Working out of assigned written and oral tasks, active participation during tutorials, 80% attendance, minimal test score 65%. In case of a low number of applicants, individual consultations will take place.
