Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course is aimed at enhancing language skills and knowledge of facts, getting an overview about the Russian economy. The expected output level is B1-B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Summary
The course is intended for students of the Faculty of Economics with knowledge of Russian at intermediate and pre-intermediate levels.
Teaching is focused on working with the current foreign language professional literature, passive and active processing of information obtained and presenting it in Russian. Part of the course is transmission of information on current economic and political situation in Russia, on cultural traditions, the social and societal phenomena in contemporary Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
