Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1.Basic skills: basic cross-country skiing and snowshoe skills, orientation in winter countryside, building emergency shelter, making fire, food preparation, rope activities
2.Physical preparation: run, orienteering, overcoming of terrain on snowshoes, cross-country skiing
3.Rescue: traumatology and first aid, transport from unaccessible terrain, rescue techniques, self-defense in winter conditions
4.Model situation solutions: teamwork development games and games for development of critical situation solutions

Summary
Learning outcomes of the course is focused on basic skills in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, orientation and behavior in winter, first aid in winter terrain, self-defense in winter conditions, safety principles in winter, construction of emergency room, fire supply and preparation of food, physical fitness of students through games to develop teamwork and to deal with crisis situations.

3. Basic turns in parallel standing of skies
4. Carving
5. Basic cross country ski training
6. Classical run and skating
7. Trip on cross country ski including short running competetion
8. Moving in snowcovered terrain
9. Managerial games and competetion of teams
10. Equipment for down-hill skiing
11. Basic rules in winter mountain terrain
