1. Develop movement literacy by identifying and correcting bad movement stereotypes. 2. Understand the individual functions of the muscular system. 3. Creating a wide range of training exercises. Emphasis is placed on good practice and technical implementation but also on a number of less important activities that are necessary for the support and development of health. 4. The subject is suitable for both men and women.

Summary

The aim of the course is to develop movement literacy by identifying and correcting bad movement stereotypes, understanding the individual functions of the muscular system and creating a wide range of training exercises. Emphasis is placed on good practice and technical implementation but also on a number of less important activities that are necessary for the support and development of health. The subject is suitable for both men and women.

Students must demonstrate their ability to understand the fundamental issues of the course and meet the credit conditions. The student demonstrates the knowledge of the rules of the given sport, he focuses on the importance of sport in creating a healthy lifestyle.

Subject syllabus:

1. Basic terminology and methodology of fitness and bodybuilding 2. Range of exercises for individual muscle groups and technique of execution 3. Back muscles 4. Abdominal muscles 5. Breast muscles 6. Cervical spine muscles 7. Shoulders and arms 8. Buttock and thigh muscles 9. Calf muscles and tibialis anterior muscle 10. Ways to help with higher load training 11. Dieting and drinking regimen in fitness and bodybuilding 12. Loads, repetition counts, exercise intensity, intervals, and resting character 13. Applying fitness and bodybuilding in other sports 14. Building students’ own training plans
