Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1. Fitness, physical condition – explanation
2. Testing fitness (aerobic, strength)
3. Fitness according to sex, age, physical exercise, possibly physical inactivity
4. Psychical and physical fitness – their mutual relation
5. Reaction and adaptation of organism to physical, possibly psychical stress
6. Selection of appropriate recreational sport activity according to sex , age and fitness, methods to practise activity technique – its significance
7. Program configuration based on the previous program, client time schedule, and equipment
8. Sport and personal equipment (footwear, clothes), basics of evidence of training process
9. Management of training process
10. Monitoring physical condition and sportsman stamina
11. Basics of nutrition hygiene, amount and composition of diet, fluid intake, daily regime, dietary supplements
12. Explanation of doping, its negative influence of physical health. Most frequently abused drugs
13. Fitness programs during recovery (disease, injury). Cooperation with physicians and physiotherapists
14. Fitness programs for clients with diabetes, hypertension or other handicaps. Principles of program formation, cooperation with physicians

Subject syllabus:
1. To explain the main principles and problems when arranging fitness programs for the general public.
2. To explain the principles of a healthy life style and the importance of locomotive activities as a part of it.
3. To teach the students how to create individual fitness programs focused on developing certain groups of muscles.
