Teaching methods


The function of one real variable, the limit and continuity of a function, derivation, function behaviour. Matrices, determinants, the solution of systems of linear equations. Analytic geometry in three-dimensional euclidean space. The integral calculus of functions of one variable, the definite Riemann integral and its application, ordinary differential equations of the 1st order and linear differential equations of higher orders. Infinite numerical and functional series, the Taylor and Maclaurin series.

Subject syllabus:

Funkce jedné reálné proměnné, limita a spojitost funkce, derivace, průběh funkce. Matice, determinanty, řešení soustav lineárních rovnic. Analytická geometrie v trojrozměrném euklidovském prostoru. Integrální počet funkcí jedné proměnné, určitý Riemanův integrál a jeho užití, obyčejné diferenciální rovnice 1. řádu a lineární diferenciální rovnice vyšších řádů. Nekonečné číselné a funkční řady, řada Tailorova a Maclaurinova.
